Tax Preparer Registration

CTEC registration identifies a California registered tax preparer. It is not a CPA, attorney or enrolled agent credential.

CAA

“IRS-Authorized Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA)” refers to an authorization under an agreement with the Internal Revenue Service to assist with qualifying ITIN applications and permitted document-certification procedures. CAA status does not mean Sharif Tax Firm is part of, endorsed by, or an agent of the IRS.

ERO / e-file

An Electronic Return Originator (ERO) is an Authorized IRS e-file Provider that originates electronic submissions of tax returns to the IRS. ERO status concerns electronic filing and does not itself create unrestricted representation rights before the IRS.

Business Registration

DBA/FBN, EIN, seller’s permit, CDTFA and local registration services are described as tax and administrative filing assistance. They are not presented as legal advice.

Immigration References

References to E-2, L-1, EB-5, EB-2, EB-2 NIW, EB-3, O-1 and R-1 are used only to identify related tax, business-registration and administrative support. Sharif Tax Firm does not represent those references as immigration legal services or as guarantees of eligibility or approval.
